Q3 Induction PD
Tuesday January 28, 2025 4:48pm - 5:23pm PST
During this sessions attendees will learn about science disciplinary literacy and how it can and should be embedded within science lessons.  In particular attendees will see examples of how disciplinary literacy is used within my high school chemistry and physics classrooms as a tool to get students speaking, reading, writing, and listening as they learn the science content.  Participants will walk away with ideas on how to improve their own lessons to increase literacy.
